Kubb UK 2010 Tournament
The fifth UK Kubb event brought new faces, returning teams, surprise appearances (including the legendary “Neil Wilson Allstar Kubb Dynamos”), and even the first-ever Speed Kubb session. Finals were lively, the crowd rowdy, and the Red Arrows flew overhead, again (not our doing).
Kubb UK 2009 Tournament
Despite fears of a washout and low turnout, the 2009 UK Kubb tournament saw 20 determined teams brave the weather for a brilliant day of competition. Rain came and went, the gazebo didn’t survive, and the pitches were more square than rectangular -but spirits were high.

Kubb South West Fun Day 2008
On May 10th, the second annual Kubb South West Fun Day drew nearly 100 players to the Old Station Inn in Hallatrow, thanks to glorious weather and a few lingering rivalries from the year before.

There’s a running joke in Kubb: you stop playing when the King starts to float. Despite the rain on May 12th at the Old Station Inn, Hallatrow, the Kubb South West Fun Day powered on with 14 teams and plenty of enthusiasm.
Hertford Open 2006
The first Hertfordshire Open Kubb Tournament began under a grey, drizzly sky, despite optimistic forecasts. Organisers Ian and Oliver arrived early to mow, measure and erect a dauntingly complex 48-piece gazebo. The tent eventually stood (just), though the grass remained stubbornly unmown.
