Dave and Glenn were honoured to recently join Alistair Goulding from Stockholm Syndrome for an interview with Claire Carter from Radio Bristol’s Extra Time.

The 2025 UK Kubb Championship was the biggest yet, with a record 89 teams competing in a sun-soaked day of friendly rivalry at Hursley Park. Highlights included thrilling finals across all three competition tiers, with Belgian team The Ice Queen And Her King winning the Open Championship and Stockholm Syndrome crowned UK National Champions as the top home team.

This year, the UK Kubb community lost Richard Barratt, a much-loved regular player who passed away suddenly at 47. Richard was known for his warmth, generosity, and love of Kubb. In a fitting tribute, the Neil Wilson Award was given in his honour - celebrating someone who truly embodied the spirit of the game.

After many years of using our hand-made kubb sets, we recently took delivery of 50 brand new, Bex Pro sets. We’re looking forward to using them at the 2025 tournament.

The 2024 UK Kubb Championship was the biggest yet, with 70 teams from across the UK and beyond creating an unforgettable day of Kubb. Pasar The Sequel triumphed in a thrilling final against German duo John Rambo, while Lovely Kubba Coffee took the Plate title. The Spirit of Kubb award went to Gareth and Chris of Kubban Missile Crisis - true legends of the game.

This year’s UK Kubb Championship raised an incredible £600 for Shelter - more than double the 2023 total. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause!

Pasar Kubbteam claimed their third UK Championship title in style, going unbeaten and defeating Show No Mersey in a 2-0 final on another fantastic day of Kubb in Hampshire. The Plate competition saw Kubba Kubba Kubba Kubba Kubba Chameleon edge out Racoon Cub Kubb Club in a thrilling 2-1 match. Pasar have promised to return in 2025 so the UK teams have their work cut out!

Tom Van Biesen of Pasar Kubbteam set an incredible 24-hour Kubb record, playing over 100 games non-stop and raising thousands for cancer charities. Wearing a UK Kubb shirt throughout, Tom carried out the challenge with the same skill and spirit he brings to our tournament every year. A truly inspiring achievement.
